Data safety

This page states the same facts as the app's Google Play Data safety section, in full sentences rather than checkboxes. Where the two could ever disagree, treat this page and the Privacy Policy as the fuller account.
Two properties hold across everything below: data is encrypted in transit, and you can request deletion of all of it without signing in.

Security practices
- All traffic between the app and our servers is TLS-encrypted.
- Call recordings are encrypted at rest.
- Session tokens are stored in Android's
EncryptedSharedPreferences, not plain preferences. - The app rejects any server-supplied URL that could name a different host, so a compromised or misconfigured server cannot redirect your authenticated requests elsewhere.
- The Play build cannot update itself. Self-update exists only in the direct-distribution build and is compiled out of the Play channel, as Play policy requires.
Deletion
Uninstalling the app removes the local copy but not the account — your data lives on the platform. Use the deletion form, which requires no sign-in, or email common@shivankit.com. Either way, deletion completes within 30 days.
